Why Sell with Us?

Whether you have just one item to sell or a whole house to liquidate, we are here to help. Throughout the several decades we’ve been in business, Sandwich Auction and Eldred’s have prided ourselves on providing personalized, expert service, competitive rates, prompt payment and proven results.

The Selling Process

Just Six Easy Steps.

  1. Evaluation of Property: One of our specialists will work with you to determine which of your items are appropriate for our auctions and will provide auction estimates.
  2. Sign a Consignment Contract: Your contract will clearly communicate the commission terms of your consignment. All contracts include a commission and an insurance fee.
  3. Transport: We will provide you with instructions on delivering your items to us, or we may be able to arrange pick-up.
  4. Processing Your Consignment: Once we are in possession of your items, we will inventory them into the most appropriate upcoming auction, photograph them for our website, catalogs and other marketing materials, and securely store them until the auction.
  5. Auction: Your items will be available to view in the days leading up to the auction, and the auctions will be posted on a variety of online platforms for maximum exposure. Buyers from around the world participate in our auctions.
  6. Payment: A check for auction proceeds are sent 40 days after the auction, provided we are in receipt of the buyer’s payment. Proceeds are the hammer price of each lot, less commission and insurance charges.
