1929; 11" X 14" The Widow from Chicago is a 1930 American pre-Code crime drama film released by First National Pictures, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. anddirected by Edward F. Cline. The movie stars Alice White, Edward G. Robinson, Neil Hamilton and Frank McHugh. Planned as a full-scale musical, the songs were cut from the film before release due to the public's aversion for musicals. F/VF; Corner crease and tear, small tear in bottom margin, two light scratches across artwork.
