SIX LAMPS AND TWO PARTS
19th Century
1) Miner's lamp with reservoir base and a pierced cylinder that holds a handled cup for heating water. Can be used for both light and heating. Height 13". Diameter 6.75".
2) Miner's finger lamp with marble base. Height 6.5". Width 4". Depth 4".
3) Cast iron railroad torch lamp with handle. Height 9.5". Maximum width 5".
4) Cast iron mining oil lamp with a hanging hook and a brass cap on the reservoir. Height 4". Maximum height with hook extended 7.5". Width 5". Depth 3".
5) Oil hand lantern, possibly for mining. Screen on one side and door on the other. Height 6". Width 3.25".
6) Hanging oil lamp with a rectangular reservoir and a hanging hook. Height 4". Maximum height 12.5". Width 4". Depth 1.25".
7-8) Two heating unit parts with plaques marked "Fall's Heater Boston, Mass Pat. Feb 23, 1892". Heights 5.75". Widths 8.5". Depths 4.5".
